About Asset Mapping
At the core of the initiative is a simple yet powerful question posed to residents: “What do you see as assets in your neighborhood?” This question sparked a community-driven effort where local residents provided valuable insight into the areas that define their neighborhoods—from community spaces and local businesses to the rich cultural heritage that contributes to their identity.
Spearheaded by NEST, and sponsored by the Leever Foundation, this initiative focuses on identifying and celebrating the strengths, resources, and unique characteristics that make the Crownbrook and South End neighborhoods vibrant and resilient.
